2026 Quarry 5K | Glenlough Running Club

Starting in the heart of the village, you travel up a concrete road for under a mile where you then hit the quarry with its loose limestone paths underfoot. This is where the real climbing starts & the epic views of the coastline, and if you're lucky on the day, Scotland as well. From there you descend the other side of the quarry and out on to the Largy Road where there is a short out and back before the descent back down to the village and under one of the iconic limestone bridges before the finish line.

Race start 7pm. Registration / number pick up from 5.30pm to 6.45pm in McAuleys Bridge Inn.

Parking in the village and at the Community Centre.

Minimum age for the race is 16 and a parental consent form will need to be completed on registration for under 18s. Please note NO transfers or refunds will be available.
